Get Happy

Get Happy was my very own show on the world’s most local radio station Wythenshawe FM. Wythenshawe is Britain’s largest council estate, just next to Manchester Airport. I was allowed to broadcast anything I wanted for 2 hours every Sunday. This was radio heaven to me, it wasn’t quite Stars on Sunday, more of a highway to hell. Listen in, as Colette Conroy, Mike Landers and myself dismantle the week’s news stories, play some top class comedy and wild and wonderful tunes.

Both downloads are in MP3 format. If you need a MP3 Player, I suggest Windows Media Player.

City Life logo

The full set from the CotY Final, held at the Comedy Store in October 2005. This download is in Windows Media format (WMV) and is quite a large download, so is best for people with broadband connections.

FHM logo

The full set from the North West heat of the FHM/Holsten Pils comedy competition. Despite being a terrible gig to play (outside, with people walking through the stage) I won through to the final in London. This download is in Apple Quicktime (MOV) format.

Having a Pop
At the height of their popularity, Mark Radcliffe and Marc Riley (aka Marc and Lard) had a quickfire sketch show called "Having a Pop" below are some of the sketches I wrote, co-wrote and made appearances in. All downloads are in Windows Media (AVI) format.

Earthquakeland

This short film, directed by Mancunian auteur Howard Walmsley, is a take on the events of the events of the Manchester earthquakes. I play local radio celebrity and psychic, Bobby Justice, a man who’s been away in order to come back. He becomes embroiled in shady goings-on in order to become the public face of the proposed multi million pound leisure complex Earthquakeland.
